چکیده
To save and better deploy waste heat, the use of a mobilized heat storage system (MHSS) with phase change enhancement means is developed. In this paper, three kinds gradient structures (positive gradient, negative non-gradient) are designed in MHSS system. The uniform porosity 94% non-gradient structure, porosities 86%, 93%, 98% respectively. Numerical models developed to explore contribution graded metal foam structure release process. An economic analysis comparison systems different transfer carried out. results show that positive case can promote thermal cycle melting solidification process, while inhibits cycle. reduce time by 9.7% 4.4%, prolong 31.4% 35.9%. Although increases initial investment 76.09%, 1 KW·h cost reduced 10.63% compared pure material (PCM). It cost-effective long run cycles.

This article presents the results of a study into a packed bed filled with ceramic bricks. The designed storage installation is supposed to become part of a heating system installed in a single-family house and eventually to be integrated with a concentrated solar collector adapted to climate conditions in Poland. The system's working medium is air. The investigated temperature ranges and air v...
متن کاملNumerical Crashworthiness Analysis of Graded Layered Foam- Filled Tubes Under Axial Loading
In this article, the results of a study on energy absorption characteristics of foam-filled thin-walled structures with finite element analysis have been presented. Four specimens of thin walled structures have been filled with uniform foam and three specimens have been filled with linear four-layered foam. Also, eight layers HLH (High-Low-High) and eight layers LHL (Low-High-Low) have been sim...
متن کاملImproving the Performance of the Sandwich Panel with the Corrugated Core Filled with Metal Foam: Mathematical and Numerical Methods
A new type of composite structure with a metal foam is reinforced by the metal corrugated core, called metal-foam-filled sandwich panel with a corrugated or V-frame core, is modelled, simulated, and studied in this article. All types of samples with different relative densities of the foam are tested and analyzed under the drop hammer load. The sandwich panel included two aluminium face-sheet, ...
متن کاملMetal Foam and Finned Metal Foam Heat Sinks for Electronics Cooling in Buoyancy-Induced Convection
In this paper, we present our recent experimental results on buoyancy-induced convection in aluminum metal foams of different pore densities [corresponding to 5, 10, 20, and 40 pores per in. (PPI)] and porosities (0.89–0.96). The results show that compared to a heated surface, the heat transfer coefficients in these heat sinks are five to six times higher. However, when compared to commercially...
متن کاملBuckling Study of Thin Tank Filled with Heterogeneous Liquid
Buckling of imperfect thin shell tank which is subjected to uniform axial compression is analyzed. The effect of internal pressure on the stability of a shell tank filled with a homogeneous-heterogeneous liquid was considered. Investigation of the liquid nature effect on reduction of the shell buckling load is performed by using the finite elements method. Calculating results in terms of analyt...
